Say, “O People of the Book! Do not go to extremes in your faith beyond the truth, nor follow the vain desires of those who went astray before ˹you˺. They misled many and strayed from the Right Way.”
(QT 5-77)
The disbelievers among the Children of Israel were condemned in the revelations of David and Jesus, son of Mary. That was for their disobedience and violations.
(QT 5-78)
You will surely find the most bitter towards the believers to be the Jews and polytheists and the most gracious to be those who call themselves Christian. That is because there are priests and monks among them and because they are not arrogant.
(QT 5-82)
When they listen to what has been revealed to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears for recognizing the truth. They say, “Our Lord! We believe, so count us among the witnesses.
(QT 5-83)
Why should we not believe in Allah and the truth that has come to us? And we long for our Lord to include us in the company of the righteous.”
(QT 5-84)
So Allah will reward them for what they said with Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there forever. And that is the reward of the good-doers.
(QT 5-85)
As for those who disbelieve and reject Our signs, they will be the residents of the Hellfire.
(QT 5-86)
O believers! You are accountable only for yourselves. It will not harm you if someone chooses to deviate—as long as you are ˹rightly˺ guided. To Allah you will all return, and He will inform you of what you used to do.
(QT 5-105)
When God will say, “O Jesus son of Mary, recall My favor upon you and upon your mother, how I supported you with the Holy Spirit. You spoke to the people from the crib, and in maturity. How I taught you the Scripture and wisdom, and the Torah and the Gospel. And recall that you molded from clay the shape of a bird, by My leave, and then you breathed into it, and it became a bird, by My leave. And you healed the blind and the leprous, by My leave; and you revived the dead, by My leave. And recall that I restrained the Children of Israel from you when you brought them the clear miracles. But those who disbelieved among them said, `This is nothing but obvious sorcery.'“
(QT 5-110)
“And when I inspired the disciples: `Believe in Me and in My Messenger.' They said, `We have believed, so bear witness that We have submitted.'“
“And when the disciples said, 'O Jesus son of Mary, is your Lord able to bring down for us a feast from heaven?' He said, 'Fear God, if you are believers.'“
They said, “We wish to eat from it, so that our hearts may be reassured, and know that you have told us the truth, and be among those who witness it.”
Jesus son of Mary said, “O God, our Lord, send down for us a table from heaven, to be a festival for us, for the first of us, and the last of us, and a sign from You; and provide for us; You are the Best of providers.”
God said, “I will send it down to you. But whoever among you disbelieves thereafter, I will punish him with a punishment the like of which I never punish any other being.”
116 And ˹on Judgment Day˺ Allah will say, “O Jesus, son of Mary! Did you ever ask the people to worship you and your mother as gods besides Allah?” He will answer, “Glory be to You! How could I ever say what I had no right to say? If I had said such a thing, you would have certainly known it. You know what is ˹hidden˺ within me, but I do not know what is within You. Indeed, You ˹alone˺ are the Knower of all unseen.
117 I never told them anything except what You ordered me to say: “Worship Allah—my Lord and your Lord!” And I was witness over them as long as I remained among them. But when You took me,1 You were the Witness over them—and You are a Witness over all things.
118 If You punish them, they belong to You after all. But if You forgive them, You are surely the Almighty, All-Wise.”
119 Allah will declare, “This is the Day when ˹only˺ the faithful will benefit from their faithfulness. Theirs are Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there for ever and ever. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. That is the ultimate triumph.”

What is Quran?
The Qur'an ("Qor-Ann") is a Message from Allah (swt) to humanity. It was transmitted to us in a chain starting from the Almighty Himself (swt) to the angel Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad (saw). This message was given to the Prophet (saw) in pieces over a period spanning approximately 23 years (610 CE to 632 CE). The Prophet (saw) was 40 years old when the Qur'an began to be revealed to him, and he was 63 when the revelation was completed. The language of the original message was Arabic, but it has been translated into many other languages.
The Qur'an is one of the two sources which form the basis of Islam. The second source is the Sunnah of the Prophet (saw). What makes the Qur'an different from the Sunnah is primarily its form. Unlike the Sunnah, the Qur'an is literally the Word of Allah (swt), whereas the Sunnah was inspired by Allah but the wording and actions are the Prophet's (saw). The Qur'an has not been expressed using any human's words. Its wording is letter for letter fixed by no one but Allah.
Prophet Muhammad (saw) was the final Messenger of Allah to humanity, and therefore the Qur'an is the last Message which Allah (swt) has sent to us. Its predecessors such as the Torah, Psalms, and Gospels have all been superseded. It is an obligation - and blessing - for all who hear of the Qur'an and Islam to investigate it and evaluate it for themselves. Allah (swt) has guaranteed that He will protect the Qur'an from human tampering, and today's readers can find exact copies of it all over the world. The Qur'an of today is the same as the Qur'an revealed to Muhammad (saw) 1400 years ago

118 If You punish them, they belong to You after all.1 But if You forgive them, You are surely the Almighty, All-Wise.”
119 Allah will declare, “This is the Day when ˹only˺ the faithful will benefit from their faithfulness. Theirs are Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there for ever and ever. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. That is the ultimate triumph.”

To Allah ˹alone˺ belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and everything within. And He is Most Capable of everything.

(QT 5-85)

Ya Allah,
You alone we worship and you alone we ask for help.
Guide us to the straight path.
O believers! Whoever among you abandons their faith, Allah will replace them with others who love Him and are loved by Him. They will be humble with the believers but firm towards the disbelievers, struggling in the Way of Allah; fearing no blame from anyone. This is the favour of Allah. He grants it to whoever He wills. And Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.
(QT 5-54)
Your only guardians are Allah, His Messenger, and fellow believers—who establish prayer and pay alms-tax with humility.
(QT 5-55)
Your only guardians are Allah, His Messenger, and fellow believers—who establish prayer and pay alms-tax with humility.(QT 5-55)
Whoever allies themselves with Allah, His Messenger, and fellow believers, then it is certainly Allah’s party that will prevail.
(QT 5-56)
1-All praise is for Allah Who created the heavens and the earth and made darkness and light.Yet the disbelievers set up equals to their Lord ˹in worship˺.
(QURAN 6-1)
He is the One Who created you from clay, then appointed a term ˹for your death˺ and another known only to Him ˹for your resurrection˺—yet you continue to doubt!
(QT 6-2)
He is the Only True God in the heavens and the earth. He knows whatever you conceal and whatever you reveal, and knows whatever you do.
(QT 6-3)
O believers! Be mindful of Allah and seek what brings you closer to Him and struggle in His Way, so you may be successful.
(QT 5-35)
As for the disbelievers, even if they were to possess everything in the world twice over ˹and offer it all˺ to ransom themselves from the punishment of the Day of Judgment, it would never be accepted from them. And they will suffer a painful punishment.
(QT 5-36)
They will be desperate to get out of the Fire but they will never be able to. And they will suffer an everlasting punishment.
(QT 5-37)
Do you not know that the kingdom of the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah ˹alone˺? He punishes whoever He wills and forgives whoever He wills. And Allah is Most Capable of everything.
(QT 5-40)
Then in the footsteps of the prophets, We sent Jesus, son of Mary, confirming the Torah revealed before him. And We gave him the Gospel containing guidance and light and confirming what was revealed in the Torah—a guide and a lesson to the God-fearing.
(QT 5-46)
So let the people of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed in it. And those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are ˹truly˺ the rebellious.
(QT 5-47)
We have revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ this Book with the truth, as a confirmation of previous Scriptures and a supreme authority on them. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their desires over the truth that has come to you. To each of you We have ordained a code of law and a way of life. If Allah had willed, He would have made you one community, but His Will is to test you with what He has given ˹each of˺ you. So compete with one another in doing good. To Allah you will all return, then He will inform you ˹of the truth˺ regarding your differences.

IBRAHIM MONOTHEISM
Ibrahim, also known as Abraham, holds a significant place in the hearts of believers across major revealed religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Let me share some insights about this revered prophet:
Title and Significance:
Ibrahim was bestowed with the title “Khalilullah”, which translates to “the friend of Allah”.
He is considered the forefather of many great prophets and is held in high esteem by followers of various faiths.
Among the 25 prophets mentioned in the Quran, Ibrahim stands out as a central figure.
Monotheism and Hanif:
Ibrahim epitomized monotheism—the unwavering belief in one God.
In the Quran, he is described as a “Hanif”, which signifies someone who adheres to pure monotheism.
Despite living in a society steeped in idol worship, Ibrahim remained steadfast in his devotion to the one true God.
Early Life and Spiritual Awakening:
Born in the ancient city of Ur (now in Iraq), Ibrahim grew up in a household of idolaters.
His father was a renowned idol sculptor, but young Ibrahim questioned the validity of these stone and wood idols.
Gifted with spiritual understanding and wisdom from an early age, he rejected the false gods worshipped by others.
Tests and Resilience:
Ibrahim faced severe trials throughout his life, yet he remained faithful and obedient to Allah.
His unwavering commitment is highlighted in the Quran: “And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey)” (Surah An-Najam: 53:37).
Legacy:
Ibrahim’s legacy extends beyond religious boundaries.
He is one of the five prophets of Ulul’azm (Arch-Prophets), alongside Noah, Moses, Jesus, and Prophet Muhammad.
His story serves as an enduring example of faith, resilience, and submission to the divine will.

Quran Surah Al-An`am 6 – 106 t0 165 . This Surah English means
161. Say, “My Lord has guided me to a straight path, an upright religion,
the creed of Abraham the Monotheist, who was not a polytheist.”
162. Say, “My prayer and my worship, and my life and my death,
are devoted to God, the Lord of the Worlds.
163. No associate has He. Thus I am commanded,
and I am the first of those who submit.
164. Say, “Am I to seek a Lord other than God, when He is the Lord of all things?”
No soul gets except what it is due, and no soul bears the burdens of another.
Then to your Lord is your return, then He will inform you regarding your disputes.
165. It is He who made you successors on the earth, and raised some of you

Your Lord is Quick in retribution, and He is Forgiving and Merciful.

https://quran.com/14 Surah Ibrahim
˹Remember˺ when Abraham prayed, “My Lord! Make this city ˹of Mecca˺ secure, and keep me and my children away from the worship of idols.
(Quran 14:35)
My Lord! They have caused many people to go astray. So whoever follows me is with me, and whoever disobeys me—then surely You are ˹still˺ All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
(Quran 14:36)

What Does the Quran Say About Jesus? +20 Jesus Verses explained!
Beloved Jesus, Christianity, Quran Christianity, Islam, Jesus, Quran Ahlan Editor
Do you know What Does the Quran Say About Jesus? The Quran provides a profound insight into the life and mission of Jesus (PBUH), mentioning him 25 times across various Surahs. In these verses, Jesus is depicted as a revered prophet, performing miracles and conveying God’s message to humanity. Notable chapters like Al-Baqarah, Aal-Imran, An-Nisaa’, and Maryam offer detailed accounts of his birth, life, and teachings, providing a distinct perspective on his role in Islam. This article delves into over 20 key verses from the Quran that explain who Jesus is according to Quranic perspective and the significance of his message.
What Does the Quran Say About Jesus Christ?
The Quran portrays Jesus (Isa) as a revered prophet and messenger, born of Mary, performing miracles by Allah’s permission, and guiding the Children of Israel. It rejects the notion of his divinity, emphasizing that he was a servant of Allah, with no claim to godhood. Provided are examples of Quranic verses (English interpretation of meaning) about Jesus (PBUH):
1. Miraculous Birth of Jesus
Jesus’ miraculous birth is a central theme in the Quran. Born to Mary (Maryam) without a father, his conception was a divine decree. Allah says:
“She said, ‘My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?’ [The angel] said, ‘Such is Allah; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, “Be,” and it is.’”
2. Endowment with Miracles and Support by the Holy Spirit:
Jesus was granted miracles (such as healing the blind, lepers, and raising the dead) and supported by the Spirit of God (Ruh al-Qudus).
“And [make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], ‘Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord: I design for you from clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of Allah.’”
3. Teaching the Scriptures and Wisdom:
He was taught the Torah, the Gospel, and wisdom, and sent to the Children of Israel. “Allah will teach him writing and wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel.”
4. Jesus as a Servant of God Disavowed of Being Worshipped:
Jesus is referred to as a servant and messenger of God. He performed miracles by God’s permission and urged people to worship God alone.
(Surah Al-Imran: 49, Surah An-Nisa: 171)
Moreover, Jesus disowns the claim that he and his mother should be worshipped alongside God, emphasizing that they only worshipped God.
The Quran narrates how Jesus’ disciples believed in him and supported his mission, affirming their submission to Allah:
“But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, ‘Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah?’ The disciples said, ‘We are supporters for Allah. We have believed in Allah and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].’”
5. Rejection of the Claim that Jesus is the Son of God:
The Quran rejects the claim that Jesus is the son of God, describing it as a false statement.
“The Jews say, ‘Uzair is the son of Allah’; and the Christians say, ‘The Messiah is the son of Allah.’ That is their statement from their mouths…”
Instead, Jesus declares his servitude to God:
“Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet.”
6. Disbelief in Jesus’ Divinity, Trinity & Crucifixion:
The Quran denies the divinity of Jesus and the concept of the Trinity, considering such beliefs as acts of disbelief.
“They have certainly disbelieved who say, ‘Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary.’… Indeed, he who associates others with Allah – Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire.”
The Quran also declares:
“The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him…”
The Quran clarifies that Jesus was not crucified; rather, it appeared so to the people, and God raised him up to Himself.
7. Jesus’ Return by the End of the World:
The Quran alludes to the return of Jesus as part of the end times, but does not provide specific details. (Surah An-Nisa: 159). Still, the prophetic traditions adds some details about Jesus return: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“The Hour will not be established until the son of Mary (i.e. Jesus) descends amongst you as a just ruler, he will break the cross, kill the pigs…”
8. Acknowledgement of His Mother Mary’s Purity:
Mary, the mother of Jesus, is regarded with high esteem in the Quran, as a pious and virtuous woman chosen by God.
““O Mary! Surely Allah has selected you, purified you, and chosen you over all women of the world.”
9. Jesus Foretells the Coming of Prophet Muhammad
The Quran records Jesus’ prophecy about the arrival of a messenger after him, named Ahmad (another name for Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him):
“And [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, ‘O Children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad.’”
10. Condemnation of Disbelievers
The Quran mentions that disbelievers among the Children of Israel were cursed for their transgressions, with Jesus himself affirming Allah’s judgment:
“Cursed were those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel by the tongue of David and of Jesus, the son of Mary. That was because they disobeyed and habitually transgressed.”
11. The Islamic Obligation to Believe in Jesus
Muslims are required to believe in all Prophets and the revelations sent to them, including Jesus. The Quran emphasizes this unity of faith:
“Say, ‘We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him.’”
These points encapsulate the Quran’s view on Jesus, emphasizing his prophethood, miraculous deeds, and the rejection of the claims of his divinity.
What Does Muhammad Say About Jesus In The Quran?
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) does not directly speak about Jesus (PBUH) in his own words in the Quran. Instead, he conveys the divine revelations from Allah (God) with complete truthfulness. These revelations about Jesus, along with the stories of other prophets, are presented as guidance for humanity.
The Quran describes Jesus (PBUH) with respect and highlights his miraculous birth, prophethood, and the message he delivered. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) simply relays the messages revealed to him by Allah, and the Quran is the final and preserved scripture, which confirms the fundamental truths found in earlier divine scriptures while correcting any distortions.
Thus, the Quran emphasizes the divinity of its message, as it is the last and unaltered revelation from Allah to humankind.

How Many Times Is Jesus Mentioned In The Quran?
The name Jesus is mentioned 25 times in the Qur’an, while the title Son of Mary is mentioned 23 times, and the description “Messiah” is mentioned 11 times reflecting the significance of this noble prophet in the Qur’an and emphasizing his special status in Islam. Sometimes they are separated and other times combined in one place:
1. The Messiah:
The title “Messiah” (Masîḥ- المسيح) Messiah means the “anointed one.” It is used in the Quran exclusively as a title for Jesus Christ. This title is never used in contexts of his prophetic mission or commandments. Instead, it is mentioned in relation to his elevated status and to correct misconceptions about him. For instance, the Quran states,
“The angels said, ‘O Mary, indeed Allah gives you glad tidings of a Word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah]’”
2. Son of Mary:
Jesus is often referred to as “Son of Mary” (ابن مريم), emphasizing his miraculous birth and separating him from claims of divinity. This title appears in contexts highlighting his humanity and the divine signs associated with him and his mother. For example,
“And We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign and sheltered them on a high ground with tranquility and flowing water”
3. Jesus (ʿĪsā):
The Quran frequently uses the name “Jesus” in various forms, such as “Jesus, son of Mary” or simply “Jesus.” This name is associated with his mission as a prophet who confirmed previous scriptures and brought divine wisdom. For instance, the Quran says,
“We sent after them Jesus, son of Mary, confirming what came before him in the Torah. And We gave him the Gospel, containing guidance, light, and confirmation of the Torah that preceded it—a guide and an admonition for the righteous”

Ayat 135 to 140
The Jews and Christians each say, “Follow our faith to be ˹rightly˺ guided.” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “No! We follow the faith of Abraham, the upright—who was not a polytheist.”
(Quran 2:135)
Say, ˹O believers,˺ “We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; and what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.”
(Quran 2:136)
So if they believe in what you believe, then they will indeed be ˹rightly˺ guided. But if they turn away, they are simply opposed ˹to the truth˺. But Allah will spare you their evil. For He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
(Quran 2:137)
This is the ˹natural˺ Way of Allah. And who is better than Allah in ordaining a way? And we worship ˹none but˺ Him.
(Quran 2:138)
Say, “Would you dispute with us about Allah, while He is our Lord and your Lord? We are accountable for our deeds and you for yours. And we are devoted to Him ˹alone˺.
(Quran 2:139)
Do you claim that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants were all Jews or Christians?” Say, “Who is more knowledgeable: you or Allah?” Who does more wrong than those who hide the testimony they received from Allah? And Allah is never unaware of what you do.

(Quran 2:140)
